I have suffered from clinical depression for most of my life, though for a long time I didn’t know it.
I’m not sure when this happened, since I have no concept of time, but there was a time when I was diagnosed with depression. Now, my depression lasts for weeks or months.
I do take antidepressants for this condition. Having said that, I still suffer from depression at times.
I recently saw my doctor and increased on of my medications to counteract the effects of the depression that’s been going on since the jury duty aftermath.
The last 5 months have been difficult for me. The depression triggered by my experience with jury duty. I had all the usual symptoms of clinical depression, but didn’t realize it. It wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago that I realized that yes indeed I was depressed. Once I had that realization, things started to get back on track.
Now that I’m finally feeling better, I can start to pick up the pieces.
